This week, our fellows gathered in Sacramento to build youth power! On day one, they created a plan unique to their cohort to build narrative power using our All Youth Are Sacred frame! We are so excited for you all to see what they have developed. We are thrilled to announce All Youth are Sacred’s official website allyoutharesacred.org🔗 Keep up with our work, news blog, and events all in one place🌻 We are proud to announce the 2025 cohort of Community Safety Through Youth Power ~ All Youth Are Sacred Fellows🫶🏾🎉🙌🏾 Proudly representing 7* counties across California, our fellows are empowered by our coordinators and All Youth Are Sacred core Today is the TWO year closure of the Department of Juvenile Justice! We celebrate the tremendous organizing victory achieved by so many advocates and youth. The closure of DJJ, the state's youth prison system, is the first carceral system closure nat 🏳️‍🌈Happy Pride Month🏳️‍⚧️ Queer Youth are Sacred! Queer youth are grossly overrepresented in the system and it is our responsibility to protect and nurture all our youth! 🌱 Pride is resistance & our movements are deeply interconnecte The second cohort of our Community Safety Through Youth Power Fellowship kicked off this month! The fellows knew the importance of taking a stand against the violence taking place in our communities. We support and embrace youth taking the streets HAPPY JUNETEENTH: FREEDOM DAY🫶🏾 ✊🏾❤️🖤💚 It is crucial for us to recognize and honor the sacrifices made by our Black/Soulaan ancestors, leaders, freedom fighters & community members!!
